FLOWNEX SE - SİMÜLASYON DEVRİMİ
Flownex Simulation Environment is the culmination of three years of development of Flownex. Flownex SE is more than just an update of Flownex, in many respects it is a complete redevelopment resulting in the evolution of Flownex into a complete simulation environment. Flownex SE will allow users to develop better solutions for their design and optimization problems in a shorter space of time; delivering a higher level of savings in the design and development process.
Some of the major changes in Flownex SE includes:
- Completely new user interface leveraging the ease of use of drag and drop in all aspects of problem setup and solution verification.
- Video tutorials to jumpstart novice users.
- Many new types of complete GUI result outputs and graphs to simplify the viewing, verification and interpretation of results. The graphs includes a T-s diagram for two-phase networks and the ability to plot two variables against each other and not only against time.
- Enhanced reporting capabilities that allow users to automatically generate reports in Microsoft Excel.
- Comprehensive visualization components to allow the construction of intuitive user interfaces on top of complex engineering models.
- Users can define their own picture sets or icons for components. Shipped with Flownex SE is 3-Dimensional and P&ID icons in addition to the icons users have been accustomed to using the current older versions of Flownex.
- Tools to aid in very large scale simulations, including the ability to separate models into subsystems and solve these subsystems on their own or integrated.
- The ability to automatically or manually keep a history of simulation setup and configuration, this history called “Snaps”, can also serve as input files or input sets.
- An Excel like grid editor for component inputs and results to allow rapid simultaneous editing and comparison of large amounts of similar components.
- All input grids for materials and component libraries allow copy and paste to and from Microsoft Excel.
- Context sensitive help files.
- An improved error system to aid users in quickly identifying the source of errors and warnings.
- Several new components including seven everyday valves and the open container component.
- The ability to create new reusable components from existing components.
- Even faster solver times by utilizing multiple processor capability and an improved iterative temperature solver for larger networks.
- The ability to perform design and optimization not only for steady-state, but also for dynamic simulations.
- The ability to perform design and optimization for all component inputs and results in all libraries.
- A new and improved advanced script component allowing user coding with a full parser and compiler for writing Microsoft C# code.
- Improved user interaction with the component and fluid libraries, similar to normal Windows Explorer behavior.
- Allows the user much more freedom in terms of user coding to write their own mathematical solvers and components, customize existing solvers, efficiently link to third party specialized solvers or customize the user interface.
- Creation of powerful user defined components.
- An improved API that will allow external programs access to solver parameters, chart and material parameters as well as the ability to setup or change a model topology.
